Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on semiconductor process tools and supporting equipment. Execute maintenance procedures in accordance with OEM documentation and internal SOPs. Diagnose and resolve first level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and utility-related issues. Respond to tool alarms and support equipment recovery activities. Escalate complex issues to Equipment Engineers and OEM service teams. Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Support equipment installation, startup, qualification, and relocation activities. Coordinate facility hookups and equipment readiness activities. Verify operational readiness prior to engineering usage. Support daily lab operational activities and equipment readiness. Coordinate with tool owners and engineering teams for maintenance scheduling. Assist in tracking equipment uptime, PM compliance, and work-order closure metrics. Follow EHS standards, Cleanroom protocols, and LOTO procedures. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability. Participate in productivity and cost-reduction projects. Contribute to standardization of maintenance practices across laboratories. Minimum Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Mechatronics Engineering 3-8 years of relevant experience in: Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Automation Systems Wafer fab experience would be an added advantage Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: No Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
