Plastic Quality Assurance Executive

Quality Analyst / Quality Assurance Executive – Plastic Industry.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Quality Control & Documentation

Maintain QC records, inspection reports, and test data.

Follow and maintain the Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.

Handle NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and support corrective and preventive actions.

Support internal audits and customer audits.

2. Raw Material Quality Management

Approve and evaluate new raw materials, including fillers, additives, and masterbatches.

Evaluate and compare alternative raw material sources for cost reduction and quality improvement.

Maintain raw material technical data, specifications, and COAs (Certificates of Analysis).

3. Laboratory Testing & Quality Analysis

Perform and monitor various tests for plastic raw materials and finished products, including:

Melt Flow Index (MFI)

Density Test

Tensile Strength and Elongation

Flexural Properties

Impact Strength (Izod)

Moisture Content

Color Matching using a Spectrophotometer

4. Process & Quality Improvement

Reduce product rejection and reprocessing.

Improve production cycle time.

Identify and suggest opportunities for productivity improvement.

Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions where required.

5. Lean Manufacturing & Waste Reduction

Identify and reduce the following types of manufacturing waste:

Overproduction

Waiting Time

Excess Inventory

Rework and Rejection

Unnecessary Motion

Over-Processing

Transportation Loss

6. Shop-Floor Quality & Workplace Improvement

Conduct regular shop-floor audits.

Implement visual workplace improvements.

Ensure proper organization and identification of tools and materials.

Support improvements in workplace safety, efficiency, and housekeeping.

Promote continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
