Plastic Injection Mold Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Remote working possibilities are also encouraged.

• Design plastic injection moulds using SolidWorks and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD.

• Develop complete mould assemblies, part drawings, and component details.

• Analyze customer product drawings and evaluate mould feasibility.

• Design core, cavity, sliders, lifters, inserts, cooling circuits, ejector systems, and runner/gate systems.

• Prepare mould assembly drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing documentation.

• Modify existing mould designs based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

• Maintain proper revision history and engineering documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, or a related field.(Candidates from GTTC and NTTF with min 2 years experience preffered)

• Certification in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD

• Good understanding of plastic injection mold design principles.

• Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing), mould flow concepts, and tooling standards.

• Ability to prepare BOMs and engineering documentation.

• Understanding of machining processes including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Wire EDM, Surface Grinding, and Assembly.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience.
