Trimming Machine Operator – Job Description

Position

Trimming Machine Operator

1–3 years of experience operating trimming machines or similar manufacturing equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate trimming machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.

• Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications and production schedules.

• Perform trimming, cutting, deburring, and finishing operations as required.

• Check machine settings, tools, fixtures, and dies before starting production.

• Monitor machine performance and identify abnormal sounds, vibrations, or defects.

• Inspect finished components using basic measuring instruments.

• Maintain required quality standards and minimize rejection/rework.

• Follow production targets, work instructions, and safety procedures.

• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of the machine.

• Maintain production records and report machine or quality issues to the supervisor.

• Follow 5S, housekeeping, PPE, and workplace safety requirements.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of trimming machine operation and basic machine settings.

• Ability to read and understand production/work instructions.

• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper and micrometer.

• Good understanding of quality and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th pass with relevant machine-operation experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Production target achievement

• Product quality and rejection control

• Machine utilization

• Minimum downtime

• Compliance with safety and 5S standards

Working Conditions

• Factory/manufacturing environment

• Shift-based work may be required

• Use of appropriate PPE is mandatory

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
