Qualification: Diploma In Printing/Plastics / ITI

Role Summary

The Assistant Machine Operator – Roto Gravure Division supports the Machine Operator in operating and maintaining rotogravure printing machines used for printing packaging materials. The role involves assisting in machine setup, loading raw materials, monitoring printing quality, and ensuring smooth production operations while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

ü Loading printing cylinders, inks, substrates, and other materials required for production.

ü Monitor the printing process to ensure proper ink registration, viscocity, and print quality.

ü Responsible for machine adjustments during production as per operator instructions.

ü Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area.

ü Responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine.

ü Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and printed rolls.

ü Follow production schedules and meet daily production targets.

ü Usage of Specto photo meter

ü Comply with safety rules, quality standards, and company policies.

Key Requirements

ü Thorough knowledge of printing machines and production processes.

ü Ability to handle machine tools and equipment safely.

ü Understanding of printing quality parameters and basic troubleshooting.

ü Good teamwork and coordination skills.

ü Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.

ü Experience in Roto Gravure printing machines

ü Immediate or short-notice joiners

Job Position – Assistant Printing Machine Operator

Department: FLEXO MACHINE (NARROW WEB) DIVISION

Location: POR, VADODARA

Experience: 3 YEARS

Qualification: Diploma In Printing/Plastics , ITI/

Role Summary

The Assistant Machine Operator – Narrow Web Flexo Machine Division should be capable to support the Machine Operator in operating and maintaining narrow web flexographic printing machines used for label and packaging printing. (capable of operating Omet Ilfex 370mm wide press 10 color fully automatic machine)The role involves assisting in machine setup, material handling, ink preparation, monitoring print quality, and ensuring smooth production operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

ü Responsible for mounting printing plates, anilox rollers, cylinders, and adjusting machine settings.

ü Ensure loading label substrates, inks, and other printing materials.

ü Monitor the printing process to ensure proper registration, color consistency, and print quality.

ü Assist in ink mixing and maintaining proper ink viscosity during production.

ü Ensure proper alignment and tension of the label material during printing.

ü Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area.

ü Support in routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting.

ü Ensure proper handling and storage of printed label rolls and raw materials.

ü Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of printing jobs.

ü Adhere to safety guidelines, quality standards, and company policies.

ü Should be able to operate Spectro photo Meter.

Key Requirements

ü Thorough knowledge of Flexographic printing process. Good hands in operating flexo label printing machine.

ü Understanding of printing plates, inks, substrates, and anilox rollers.

ü Ability to handle machine tools and production materials safely.

ü Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.

ü Ability to maintain print quality and production efficiency.

ü Good teamwork and communication skills. Result oriented and passionate individual

ü Experience in Narrow Web Flexo printing machines is a must.

ü Immediate or short-notice joiners
