Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Construction Machine Operator to join our team at Gable Construction Private Limited. The candidate will be responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining construction machinery such as road rollers, concrete mixers, and other heavy construction equipment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating construction machines and should be able to check their basic functionality, identify operational issues, and ensure that the equipment is safe and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate road rollers, concrete mixers, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently.

• Perform basic checks of machines before and after operation to ensure proper functionality.

• Check machine controls, engine performance, hydraulic systems, brakes, tyres, and other essential components.

• Identify basic mechanical or operational issues and report them to the concerned supervisor or maintenance team.

• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance as required.

• Ensure machines are operated according to company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

• Monitor machine performance during operations and immediately report any abnormal noise, leakage, malfunction, or safety concern.

• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to ensure timely availability and proper use of machinery.

• Maintain basic records of machine usage, maintenance, fuel, and reported issues.

• Ensure proper handling and care of company machinery to minimize breakdowns and downtime.

• Follow all site safety rules and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 12th Pass qualification.

• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy construction machinery.

• Hands-on experience with road rollers, concrete mixers, and similar construction equipment is preferred.

• Good understanding of basic machine operations and functionality checks.

• Ability to identify basic machine faults and communicate issues to the maintenance team.

• Physically fit and comfortable working at construction sites.

• Good attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

• Responsible, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
