Job Title: ITI Fitter

Job Summary:

An ITI Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical parts, machines, and equipment. The role requires technical knowledge, precision, and ability to work with tools and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Assemble machine parts and equipment as per specifications

Fit, align, and install components using hand tools and machines

Perform maintenance and repair of machinery

Check equipment for faults and fix issues

Ensure proper measurements and accuracy

Follow safety standards and procedures

Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Required Skills:

Knowledge of mechanical tools and machines

Ability to read technical drawings

Basic understanding of measurements (vernier, micrometer)

Problem-solving skills

Attention to detail

Physical stamina and hand-eye coordination

Qualification:

ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Fitter trade

Freshers or experienced candidates both can apply

Experience:

0–3 years (depending on requirement)

Work Environment:

Manufacturing units

Workshops

Construction sites

Maintenance departments
