We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter Assembly to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of components and products according to engineering blueprints and specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fit mechanical parts, components, and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise assembly.

Measure and align components accurately using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, such as misalignments or defective parts.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to improve assembly processes and product quality.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to a supervisor.
