We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Assort Machine Tools Co. The role involves fitting, assembling, and installing machine tools and accessories, as well as maintaining quality and precision standards. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 and a great opportunity to work in the core of the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and assemble machine tools, accessories, and parts as per technical drawings

• Use hand tools, drills, grinders, and other equipment to complete fittings

• Inspect and ensure alignment, tolerances, and finish of fitted parts

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment

• Maintain proper documentation and support tool room inventory management

• Follow quality and safety standards throughout the fitting process

• Collaborate with design and production teams to support new product fittings and modifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitting or a related trade

• 1–3 years of experience in fitting machine tools or accessories

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams

• Skilled in using common mechanical tools and measuring instruments

• Good physical strength, precision, and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
