Field Technician

We are looking for a hands-on EV Field Service Technician to support installation,

maintenance, and troubleshooting of EV charging stations across Chennai and nearby

regions. The role requires strong electrical fundamentals, willingness to travel to sites, and

the ability to work independently in field conditions.

Key Responsibilities

 Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of charging infrastructure

 Diagnose faults in electrical systems, chargers, and communication networks

 Handle breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution as per SLA

 Ensure compliance with Indian electrical standards and safety norms (CEA guidelines,

earthing practices, etc.)

 Maintain service reports, job cards, and documentation (digital/manual)

 Support backend team with issue escalation and root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

 ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory)

 1–3 years of field service or electrical maintenance experience

 Strong knowledge of LT electrical systems, wiring, panels, and safety

 Basic understanding of networking (SIM-based connectivity, Wi-Fi routers)

 Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs (Single Line Diagrams)

 Must own a two-wheeler and hold a valid driving license

 Willingness to travel across Chennai.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience in EV charging, solar systems, or UPS/inverter servicing

 Knowledge of EV ecosystem

 Basic English communication (Tamil fluency required; Hindi is a plus)

 Ability to handle field pressure and emergency service calls

 Good customer interaction and communication skills

 Time management and ability to work independently

 Practical, hands-on approach to technical issues

Working Conditions

 Field-based role with daily travel within Chennai

 Work may involve outdoor conditions (heat, dust, rain)

 Flexible working hours; weekend/on-call support may be required

 Rotational Shifts and week offs.
