Job Purpose

To lead the plant operations with a focus on production planning, quality assurance, cost control, maintenance, safety, manpower management, and continuous improvement in line with business goals.

Production & Planning

• Ensure timely and efficient execution of daily/weekly/monthly production plans

• Monitor machine-wise output, downtime, and productivity targets

• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, material, and machines

• Coordinate with the sales and dispatch team to meet delivery deadlines

Maintenance & Utility Management

• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery

• Ensure zero downtime through proactive equipment care

• Coordinate with the maintenance team for spares planning and AMC schedules

Inventory & Material Coordination

• Coordinate with stores and purchase for raw material planning

• Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory levels

• Reduce material wastage and rework through effective controls

Manpower & Team Leadership

• Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and support staff

• Monitor staff discipline, attendance, and productivity

• Plan skill-based training and development programs

Drive motivation, safety awareness, and teamwork

Requisite Skills

• Strong knowledge of injection molding, manufacturing processes, and job work

• Team handling and inter-department coordination

• Production planning and plant operations expertise
