Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day factory operations, production activities, workers, quality, and safety. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality and workplace discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
- Allocate work to workers according to production requirements.
- Monitor production targets, output, and productivity.
- Ensure machines and equipment are operated properly.
- Monitor product quality and ensure production standards are followed.
- Maintain proper discipline and attendance of workers.
- Coordinate with management regarding production requirements and issues.
- Identify and report machine breakdowns and production problems.
- Ensure proper usage and availability of raw materials.
- Maintain daily production and worker records.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping on the factory floor.
- Follow and enforce workplace safety rules and procedures.
- Train and guide workers whenever required.
- Monitor overtime and shift requirements.
- Reduce material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance, stores, quality, and other departments.
- Report daily production status and issues to management.
Requirements
- Education: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in factory/production supervision preferred.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Ability to manage and supervise workers.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle production pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of computers and production reporting.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and quality standards.
