Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in Sheet Metal Design and hands-on experience in AutoCAD & SolidWorks. The candidate will be responsible for product design, fabrication drawings, BOM preparation, and coordination with production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabrication drawings

• Create BOM (Bill of Materials) and production documentation

• Coordinate with production and quality teams

• Ensure design feasibility for manufacturing and cost optimization

• Modify designs as per client or production requirements

• Maintain engineering documents and design records

• Support prototype and new product development activities

• Vendor coordination related to design requirements

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design

• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD & SolidWorks

• Knowledge of fabrication processes: laser cutting, bending, welding, punching & assembly

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
