Job Title: Design Engineer – Sheet Metal & Fabrication

Experience: 3–6 Years

Location: Greater Noida

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal and fabrication design. The candidate must have strong knowledge of 3D design software and the ability to develop accurate, production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop sheet metal components and fabrication assemblies.

Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.

Ensure designs meet customer specifications and manufacturing feasibility.

Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.

Coordinate with production and quality teams for design validation.

Optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.

Handle design modifications and improvements as per project requirements.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.

Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar.

Understanding of bending, cutting, welding, and assembly processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualification:

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in industrial fabrication setups.

Knowledge of CNC laser cutting and bending operations.
