Job Description:

A Cost Estimation Engineer analyzes project data to forecast costs, budgets, and financial viability, ensuring projects remain profitable and efficient by balancing cost, quality, and time, working across sectors like manufacturing and finance to control spending and mitigate financial risks through detailed quantity take-offs, tendering, and budget management.
Cost Estimation Engineers are vital for preventing budget overruns, ensuring projects meet financial targets, and providing the data needed to make informed decisions, turning complex projects into financially successful ventures.

EXPERIENCE:

02 To 04 Years Of Experience In Cost Estimation.

QUALIFICATION:

Any Bachelor's Degree or In Engineering.

Salary:

Rs.02.40 LPA To Rs.04.00 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

1- Study RFQs, drawings, BOMs & specifications

2- Calculate material, machining, labour & overhead costs

3- Select suitable materials as per the application

4- Prepare detailed costing sheets

5- Coordinate with Purchase for material pricing

6- Coordinate with Production for feasibility

7- Support Sales with pricing clarifications

8- Maintain costing data for repeat enquiries

Skills Required:

1- Technical Skills:

a) Proficiency in cost estimation software.

b) Knowledge of BOQ preparation.

c) Quantity surveying and project management principles.

2- Soft Skills:

a) Strong analytical skills.

b) Attention to detail and Strong follow-up & coordination ability.

c) Time Management & Team Work.
