CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Sarada Robotech. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15,000 - ₹28,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Turning & VMC Programmer cum Operator

1. Programming & Setup

   • Develop and edit CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for CNC Turning and VMC machines.

   • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications.

   • Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and workholding methods.

   • Set up machines, including tooling, offsets, and job alignment.

2. Machine Operation

   • Operate CNC Turning and VMC machines to produce precision components.

   • Ensure proper machine parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.

   • Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments.

3. Quality Control

   • Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).

   • Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.

   • Maintain proper documentation of inspection reports.

4. Process Optimization

   • Improve cycle time and machining efficiency.

   • Reduce tool wear and optimize tool life.

   • Suggest improvements in machining processes and productivity.

5. Troubleshooting

   • Identify and resolve machining issues such as tool breakage, vibration, or dimensional errors.

   • Debug and modify CNC programs as required.

6. Maintenance & Safety

   • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness.

   • Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.

   • Report any machine faults or safety hazards immediately.

7. Documentation & Reporting

   • Maintain records of programs, tooling details, and production data.

   • Prepare SOPs and setup sheets for repeat jobs.

8. Coordination

   • Work closely with design, production, and quality teams.

   • Assist in training junior operators if required.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 3 - 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
