· CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs.
· Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines (turning and milling machines) for gear manufacturing, ensuring that all tools, fixtures, and work pieces are correctly aligned.
· Tool Selection and Calibration: Select, install, and calibrate tools required for the job, ensuring proper cutting conditions.
· Quality Control: Perform in-process inspection and troubleshooting, ensuring parts meet the required specifications and tolerances.
· Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and maintain product quality.
· Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
· Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, and quality control departments to ensure seamless production processes.
