CNC Operator cum Setter – ITI Machinist

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled CNC Operator cum Setters with hands-on experience in CNC machine operation and setting. The candidate should be capable of independently setting machines, handling tooling, making offsets, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set CNC machines as per production requirements.

• Perform machine setting, tool setting and tool offset adjustments.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and machining parameters.

• Load and edit CNC programs as required.

• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.

• Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.

• Monitor machine performance and maintain production targets.

• Identify and rectify basic machining and setting-related issues.

• Replace cutting tools and make necessary offset corrections.

• Maintain dimensional accuracy and minimize rejection/rework.

• Follow production schedules, quality standards, 5S and safety procedures.

• Maintain machine, tooling and production-related records.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC machine operation and setting.

• Knowledge of tool offsets, work offsets and tool changes.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.

• Good knowledge of measuring instruments.

• Basic CNC programming/editing knowledge will be an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and achieve production targets.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
