We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer / Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC machines (lathe/milling) to produce high-precision components. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, preparing machining programs, ensuring part accuracy, and maintaining machine efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop CNC programs using G-code/M-code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, etc.).
Set up CNC machines: install tools, fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices.
Perform test runs and adjust machine settings to achieve dimensional accuracy.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, process sheets, and tool layouts.
Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges, etc.
Troubleshoot machining issues like tool wear, chatter, offsets, and tolerance errors.
Maintain daily production logs and ensure machine housekeeping & safety compliance.
Optimize tool paths and machining parameters to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
Perform routine machine maintenance and report abnormalities.
ITI / Diploma / Any higher degree with prior experience.
1–3+ years of experience in CNC programming/operation (lathe or milling).
Strong understanding of cutting parameters, feeds & speeds, tooling, and materials.
Hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers.
Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T concepts.
Knowledge of CAM software preferred.
Good problem-solving skills, precision mindset, and mechanical aptitude.
Additional Requirements (Optional Based on Company)
Experience in 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis machining.
Knowledge of fixture design and tool selection.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
Exposure to ISO 9001 / AS9100 / automotive quality standards is a plus.
