CNC Machine Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (Lathe / Milling / VMC / HMC) as per production requirements

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions

• Load raw materials and unload finished components safely

• Perform tool changes, offset settings, and basic program edits if required

• Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)

• Maintain production quality as per specifications and quality standards

• Identify and report machine abnormalities, defects, or breakdowns to supervisors

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and use PPE at all times

• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance

• Achieve production targets with minimal rejection and downtime

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in CNC machine operation

• Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi – preferred)

• Understanding of machining processes and cutting tools

• Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines

• Basic knowledge of ISO / quality standards is an advantage

• Team player with good attention to detail
