Dental Implant Manufacturing

Job Purpose

To ensure that dental implants are properly inspected, cleaned, surface-treated, and prepared according to defined quality standards and manufacturing procedures before further processing or final packing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspection

• Inspect dental implants at different stages of manufacturing.

• Check implant dimensions, threads, surface condition, appearance, and overall workmanship.

• Identify scratches, dents, contamination, machining defects, or other abnormalities.

• Verify products against approved specifications, drawings, samples, and inspection standards.

• Maintain proper records of inspection results and rejected/accepted quantities.

• Immediately report any quality deviation to the Quality/Production Manager.

2. Surface Treatment

• Carry out the assigned surface treatment process for dental implants as per approved SOP/work instructions.

• Ensure proper cleaning, treatment, rinsing, drying, and handling of implants.

• Follow defined process parameters such as time, concentration, temperature, and other applicable conditions.

• Ensure implants are not contaminated or damaged during surface treatment.

• Handle chemicals and equipment safely and according to applicable SOPs and safety requirements.

• Monitor and record surface-treatment batches and process parameters.

3. Post-Treatment Quality Check

• Inspect treated implants for uniformity and surface appearance.

• Ensure implants are free from visible contamination, residues, stains, or process-related defects.

• Segregate non-conforming products and maintain rejection/rework records.

• Ensure only approved implants move to the next production stage.

4. Documentation & Traceability

• Maintain batch-wise inspection and surface-treatment records.

• Complete check sheets, process records, and related quality documentation.

• Maintain proper identification and traceability of each batch.

• Ensure records are accurate, complete, and available for internal/external audits.

5. Equipment & Workplace

• Operate surface-treatment and inspection equipment as trained.

• Perform basic cleaning and routine checks of equipment.

• Inform the supervisor about equipment malfunction or abnormal process conditions.

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area.

• Follow applicable GMP/quality-system requirements and company SOPs.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of measuring instruments and inspection methods.

• Ability to identify surface defects and product abnormalities.

• Basic understanding of chemical handling and surface-treatment processes.

• Good record-keeping and documentation skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs strictly.

• Ability to work independently as well as with the production/quality team.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech. or relevant technical qualification preferred.

• Experience in medical devices, dental implants, precision machining, or quality inspection will be an advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years preferred in quality inspection, surface treatment, medical-device manufacturing, or a similar manufacturing environment.

• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

• Timely completion of inspection and treatment activities.

• Compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality requirements.

Reporting

Reports to: Quality Manager / Production Manager

Important

The employee must strictly follow company SOPs, approved process parameters, safety instructions, and quality requirements. No material should be released to the next stage without the required quality verification and documentation.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 2 - 3 years of experience.
