Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in fabrication and nesting. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fabrication drawings, optimizing material usage through nesting, and supporting production teams with accurate technical drawings. Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication processes will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings as per project requirements.

• Perform nesting of sheet metal parts to optimize material utilization and reduce wastage.

• Create and modify 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.

• Develop cutting layouts for Plasma machines.

• Coordinate with production and planning teams for smooth fabrication activities.

• Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing standards and tolerances.

• Review design specifications and suggest improvements for better productivity.

• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions.

• Provide technical support to the production team when required.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in nesting software (e.g., Camduct or similar).

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, and welding.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.

• Understanding of material optimization techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CNC Laser / Plasma cutting operations.

• Knowledge of BOM preparation and material planning.

• Experience in fabrication industries such as HVAC , industrial equipment, or sheet metal fabrication.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
