Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 3D SolidWorks Designer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation for machines, components, and assemblies related to industrial automation and SPM machines systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks

• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T

• Design machine parts, fixtures, jigs, and sheet-metal components

• Modify and improve existing designs based on production and client feedback

• Coordinate with production, purchase, and project teams

• Ensure designs meet manufacturing, safety, and quality standards

• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials)

• Support R&D and prototype development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing)

• Experience in machine design and industrial components

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, milling, turning)

• Understanding of tolerances, fits, and GD&T

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems is an advantage

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in SPM machines or automation projects

• Knowledge of sheet metal & weldment design

• Exposure to ERP or documentation systems

• Problem-solving and good communication skills

Salary

• As per industry standards (Based on experience and skill level)
