## About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Legal & Land Executive to support land aggregation, due diligence, documentation, and stakeholder coordination activities for renewable energy projects including Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS, and Green Hydrogen projects across India.
The candidate will work closely with landowners, government departments, legal professionals, revenue officials, and project teams to facilitate land acquisition and project development activities.
## Key Responsibilities
### Land Identification & Aggregation
• Support identification and aggregation of land parcels for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with local land aggregators, brokers, landowners, and village representatives.
• Assist in collecting land records and ownership documents.
• Conduct preliminary assessment of land suitability from a legal and ownership perspective.
• Maintain land databases and project trackers.
### Legal Due Diligence
• Verify ownership and title documents.
• Review revenue records, mutation entries, khasra/khatauni, jamabandi, 7/12 extracts, RTC records, and other state-specific land records.
• Assist in identifying legal risks, encumbrances, disputes, litigations, and third-party claims.
• Coordinate with empaneled advocates for title verification and legal opinions.
• Prepare due diligence reports and maintain legal documentation.
### Documentation & Agreements
• Draft, review, and manage:
• Lease Agreements
• Sale Agreements
• Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
• Consent Letters
• Right of Way (ROW) Agreements
• Affidavits and Declarations
• Power of Attorney Documents
• Landowner Undertakings
• Coordinate execution and registration of agreements.
### Government & Regulatory Coordination
• Liaise with Revenue Departments, Tehsil Offices, Sub-Registrar Offices, Panchayats, and other government authorities.
• Assist in obtaining land-related approvals, certificates, and permissions.
• Support mutation and registration processes.
• Track policy and regulatory developments affecting renewable energy projects.
### Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and local stakeholders.
• Participate in village meetings and landowner discussions.
• Resolve basic land-related queries and concerns.
• Coordinate with project developers, consultants, survey teams, and legal advisors.
### Field Activities
• Conduct field visits for land verification and document collection.
• Verify site boundaries and ownership details.
• Support GPS surveys, site inspections, and project feasibility assessments.
• Travel extensively across different states as required by project needs.
### Reporting & MIS
• Maintain accurate records of land parcels and agreements.
• Prepare project progress reports and status updates.
• Organize and digitize legal and land-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with company documentation standards.
## Desired Skills
