Job Summary:

We are looking for a Legal Advisor to join our team at [ATZ properties], a leading real estate firm. This entry-level position is perfect for fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of real estate law. The ideal candidate will assist the legal department with various tasks such as reviewing contracts, providing legal guidance on property transactions, and ensuring the company complies with real estate regulations. Training and mentorship will be provided.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Legal Documentation & Contract Review:

  • Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and processing of legal documents such as agreements, leases, and property sale contracts.

  • Ensure that all contracts comply with local laws and regulations.

  • Help in reviewing and preparing title deeds, property agreements, sale deeds, and lease agreements.

2. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local property laws, land acquisition policies, and real estate regulations.

  • Stay updated on laws related to land titles, property taxes, zoning regulations, and environmental laws affecting real estate transactions.

  • Assist in obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and approvals for property transactions or developments.

3. Legal Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct research on legal issues related to real estate, land laws, and other relevant regulations.

  • Analyze court rulings, statutory regulations, and government policies affecting the real estate industry.

  • Support senior legal team members in preparing case summaries and legal opinions.

4. Transaction Support:

  • Assist in property transactions, including buying, selling, and leasing properties.

  • Support the team in resolving property disputes, if any, by conducting initial investigations or legal research.

5. Legal Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying potential legal risks related to real estate deals and provide preliminary support for risk mitigation strategies.

  • Review and monitor the company’s internal processes to ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations.

6. Liaison with External Parties:

  • Communicate with external legal counsels, government officials, and regulatory bodies on real estate-related matters.

  • Support the legal team in dealing with vendors, property developers, and clients to ensure legal compliance in transactions.

7. Document Management & Filing:

  • Maintain and organize legal files and documentation related to real estate deals, including contracts, property documents, and legal notices.

  • Ensure proper storage and retrieval of documents as per company policy.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

    • Familiarity with real estate laws, property transactions, and legal documentation is a plus but not required.

    Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Good organizational and time-management skills.

    • Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.

    • Basic understanding of real estate laws and regulations is beneficial.

    • Eagerness to learn and grow in real estate law.
