Job Title: In-House Advocate / Legal Counsel

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive In-House Advocate to manage the organization’s legal matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic legal advice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling litigation, drafting legal documents, coordinating with external counsel, and safeguarding the company’s legal interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including agreements, contracts, notices, and policies.

Represent the company in legal proceedings where applicable and coordinate with external advocates and law firms.

Handle litigation matters including civil, commercial, and regulatory cases.

Provide legal advice to management on business operations, risk mitigation, and compliance matters.

Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.

Manage legal documentation, case records, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.

Assist management in dispute resolution, legal strategy, and contract enforcement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

LL.B. degree from a recognized university.

Enrolled with the Bar Council of India or a State Bar Council.

3–7 years of relevant legal experience (litigation and/or corporate legal work preferred).

Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in corporate legal advisory or in-house legal roles.

Familiarity with contract management and compliance frameworks.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.
