About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Advocate to join our legal team in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of applicable laws, excellent legal drafting skills, and practical experience in handling legal matters independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil, commercial, corporate, property, and other legal matters as required.

• Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, government authorities, and other legal forums.

• Draft and review legal notices, agreements, contracts, petitions, affidavits, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal opinions and advice.

• Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, government departments, and other stakeholders.

• Manage case documentation, hearings, deadlines, and legal records.

• Monitor ongoing litigation and provide regular updates to management.

• Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.

• Valid enrollment with the appropriate State Bar Council.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; candidates with 5+ years of litigation or corporate legal experience will be preferred.

• Strong experience in legal drafting, litigation, negotiations, and legal research.

• Good understanding of Andhra Pradesh legal and regulatory procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple matters within deadlines.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Telugu will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Court and litigation experience in Visakhapatnam.

• Experience dealing with local government authorities and regulatory bodies.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

• Good professional network with local legal and regulatory stakeholders.

• Strong documentation and case-management skills.
