Warden

We are looking for a Hostel Warden to join our team at Minda Corporation Limited. Your responsibility will be assisting contractors, operating heavy machinery and following all health and safety regulations at site. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for this position. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30,000 - ₹45,000.

A hostel warden manages day-to-day operations, ensures student safety and discipline, and oversees facility maintenance. Their main duties involve supervising resident welfare, enforcing rules, and handling administration.

Administration and Room Management

• Room Allotment: Assigning rooms to new students and managing room changes.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining attendance registers, student contact details, and movement logs for incoming and outgoing residents.

• Staff Supervision: Managing housekeeping, security, and maintenance workers to keep the facility running smoothly.

Discipline and Security

• Enforcing Rules: Making sure students follow curfews, timings, and code of conduct.

• Conflict Resolution: Settling arguments between residents fairly and stopping bullying or ragging.

Health, Welfare, and Facilities

• Medical Emergencies: Caring for sick students, arranging medical help, and informing parents and school authorities.

• Mess and Food Quality: Inspecting dining hygiene, food quality, and listening to student feedback about meals.

• Maintenance: Reporting and fixing broken electrical items, plumbing, or cleaning issues quickly.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and Ex-Servicemen and 3 - 6+ years of experience. Candidates applying for the position must be at least 18 years of age. The role requires physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks to be performed in all weather. Dependability and timely attendance are essential.
