Job Summary:

A Warden is responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, and proper management of the hostel or residential facility. The warden ensures the well-being of students/residents, supervises daily activities, and creates a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain discipline and ensure hostel rules are followed.

* Supervise students/residents and address their concerns.

* Ensure cleanliness, security, and proper maintenance of the hostel.

* Monitor entry and exit of residents and visitors.

* Maintain attendance and hostel records.

* Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and kitchen staff.

* Handle emergencies, conflicts, and disciplinary issues.

* Conduct regular inspections of rooms and hostel premises.

* Ensure safety measures and health standards are maintained.

* Communicate with parents/guardians and management when required.

* Organize hostel activities and create a positive environment.

* Ability to handle emergencies calmly

* Organizational and management skills

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree preferred

* Experience in hostel/residential management is an advantage

* Basic computer knowledge preferred

Working Conditions:

* May require staying on campus/hostel premises

* Flexible working hours including weekends or emergencies

Salary:

As per organization norms and experience.

The warden is expected to maintain a safe, disciplined, and supportive atmosphere for all residents.
