Pantry Commi

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pantry Commi to join our kitchen team in Banaras. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing salads, sandwiches, cold dishes, desserts, and basic continental preparations while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble salads, sandwiches, wraps, cold platters, and other pantry items.

• Assist in the preparation of desserts and continental starters as per recipes.

• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pantry section.

• Store and handle ingredients properly to maintain freshness.

• Monitor stock levels and inform the senior chef of inventory requirements.

• Minimize food wastage and follow food safety standards.

• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Pantry Commi or in a similar role.

• Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and pantry operations.

• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in Banaras.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in salad preparation, sandwich making, and plating.

• Basic knowledge of desserts and cold kitchen operations.

• Time management and organizational skills.
