Packing Staff

A packing worker (or packer) prepares finished goods for safe transit, storage, or distribution. They inspect products for damage, verify order accuracy, and pack items securely using boxes, padding, and shrink wrap. This fast-paced role requires physical stamina and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Read order slips or use digital scanners to pull the correct products from inventory.

• Quality Control: Inspect items for defects, damage, or missing parts before packing them.

• Packaging: Select appropriate boxes and use packing materials (e.g., bubble wrap, peanuts, tape) to prevent breakage during transit.

• Labeling: Weigh packed boxes and apply accurate shipping, handling, and tracking labels.

• Equipment Operation: Safely use packing tools and warehouse machinery like tape guns, shrink wrap machines, and pallet jacks.

• Inventory Tracking: Log order details into company computer systems and report low stock or damaged goods to supervisors.

• Safety & Maintenance: Keep the packing area clean, hazard-free, and follow local safety regulations
