A packing job involves efficiently selecting, checking, packing, and labeling products for shipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards in a warehouse or distribution setting, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork to meet order full fillment goals. Key duties include using packing materials, operating equipment like pallet jacks, maintaining clean work areas, and updating records. 

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Picking items from inventory, packing them securely in appropriate containers (boxes, bags), and sealing them.

• Quality Control: Inspecting products for damage and ensuring they meet quality standards before packing.

• Labeling & Documentation: Accurately applying shipping labels, tracking information, and logging order details.

• Workspace Management: Keeping the packing area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.

• Equipment Operation: Safely using tools like hand scanners, pallet wrappers, dollies, and forklifts.

• Safety Compliance: Following all company safety rules (OSHA) and procedures, especially with fragile or hazardous items.

• Shipping Support: Moving packed orders to shipping docks and assisting with loading.
