Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Plumbing Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, works well independently or in a team, and prioritizes safety and high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Repair: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.) in accordance with plumbing codes.

• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues quickly and accurately, providing clear explanations and cost estimates to clients or supervisors.

• System Testing: Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure issues, and structural integrity using appropriate tools and gauges.

• Blueprints & Specs: Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and structural drawings to plan the layout of plumbing systems.

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential water systems to prevent future failures.

• Compliance: Adhere strictly to local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 0 or more years of proven experience working as a plumber or plumbing apprentice.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of water distribution, waste systems, and relevant tools (pipe cutters, threading machines, hydro-jetters, etc.).

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift to 15kg, work in tight or cramped spaces (crawl spaces, under sinks), and spend long periods standing or kneeling.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, punctuality, and excellent communication skills
