Role Description The Instructor & Counsellor for the Ground Staff Training Course and Fire & Safety Training Program will deliver classroom and practical instruction, ensuring that learners understand core aviation service and safety concepts. This full-time, on-site role in Patna includes planning lessons, developing training materials, conducting assessments, and providing individual guidance to learners on academic performance and career paths. The role involves demonstrating safety procedures, coordinating drills and simulations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of aviation ground operations and fire and safety regulations. The Instructor & Counsellor will also support admissions and orientation activities, track learner progress, and collaborate with institute staff to maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and learner-centric environment.
Qualifications

• Strong instructional, classroom management, and training delivery skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learners.

• Knowledge of aviation ground operations, airport customer service, and fire and safety procedures, including emergency response practices and safety regulations.

• Counselling and mentoring abilities to guide learners on academic challenges, career planning, and professional conduct in the aviation sector.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

• Organizational and administrative skills for lesson planning, record-keeping, assessment documentation, and coordination of training schedules.

• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in aviation, safety management, education, or a related field; professional certifications in fire and safety or aviation operations are an advantage.

• Prior experience as an aviation trainer, safety instructor, ground staff professional, or educator in a technical or vocational setting is preferred.
