Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations as per physician orders.
Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self in compliance with safety guidelines.
Verify patient identity and procedure requisitions prior to imaging.
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and accessories.
Monitor image quality and repeat procedures only when necessary.
Maintain radiology records, reports, and patient documentation accurately.
Adhere to infection control and biomedical waste management protocols.
Assist radiologists during contrast studies and special procedures when required.
Ensure proper care, calibration, and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.
Report equipment malfunction or safety issues promptly.
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
