Phlebotomist

Job Summary

Collect high-quality blood samples from patients at our Ameenpur . Ensure patient comfort, accurate labeling, and quick turnaround for tests in a local setup. Full-time role with shifts including evenings/weekends; salary ₹10000 – 12000 month based on experience (negotiable for locals/non-locals).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary punctures, and finger sticks on adults, children, and elderly patients while minimizing discomfort.

• Verify patient ID, explain procedures in Telugu/English, and calm anxious patients before collection.

• Label samples correctly, maintain integrity (order of draw, temperature control), and prepare for lab transport within 1-2 hours.

• Maintain sterile equipment, follow bio-safety protocols, dispose sharps safely, and keep collection areas clean/stock supplies.

• Document collections in our app/EMR, track daily tallies and report issues promptly.

Requirements

• Certification/Diploma in Phlebotomy or MLT from recognized institute; 1+ years experience preferred.

• Fluent in Telugu (must); basic English for reports. Non-locals: Willing to relocate to Ameenpur with own housing/transport plan.

• Reliable, empathetic, with knowledge of tubes (EDTA, SST), anticoagulants, and difficult draws.
