Phlebotomy & Sample Collection

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection accurately and safely.

• Collect blood, urine, and other samples as per laboratory protocols.

• Conduct home visits for sample collection.

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of specimens.

• Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines.

Laboratory Operations

• Perform basic laboratory tests as assigned.

• Prepare samples for analysis.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and work area cleanliness.

• Report any sample rejection or quality issues promptly.

Patient Care & Communication

• Communicate professionally with patients and attendants.

• Explain sample collection procedures and preparation requirements.

• Address patient queries courteously.

• Ensure patient comfort during sample collection.

Doctor & Clinic Coordination

• Visit doctors and clinics to promote laboratory services.

• Maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.

• Coordinate sample collection requirements from clinics and hospitals.

Front Desk Support

• Register patients and enter test details accurately.

• Schedule home collection appointments.

• Handle patient inquiries and phone calls.

• Assist in billing and report dispatch when required.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of collected samples.

• Ensure proper documentation of patient information.

• Verify test reports before dispatch.

• Maintain daily logs and laboratory records.
