Position - Pharmacy Aide / Pharmacy Assistant

Location - Kanchipuram – Multiple Branches

Job Type - Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for responsible and customer-friendly Pharmacy Aides to support the day-to-day operations of our medical stores. The candidate will assist the pharmacist and store team in maintaining smooth store operations, customer service, stock management and billing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in day-to-day pharmacy operations.

• Receive, arrange and organize medicines and other pharmacy products.

• Maintain proper product arrangement and follow FIFO/FEFO principles.

• Check stock levels and inform the pharmacist/store-in-charge about shortages.

• Assist with stock counting and inventory verification.

• Identify and segregate near-expiry and expired products as instructed.

• Assist customers in locating products and direct prescription-related queries to the pharmacist.

• Support billing and other counter activities as required.

• Receive and arrange incoming stock and transfers properly.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of shelves and the store.

• Support preparation and filing of store documents and records.

• Follow company SOPs, safety procedures and pharmacy regulations.

• Ensure products are handled and stored appropriately.

• Coordinate with the pharmacist and store team to provide good customer service.

• Perform other store-related duties assigned by the Store Manager/Pharmacist.
  

Candidate Profile

• Minimum qualification: 12th Standard / Any relevant pharmacy or healthcare qualification.

• D.Pharm/B.Pharm candidates who are looking for a retail pharmacy role may also apply.

• Freshers are welcome.

• Previous retail pharmacy/store experience will be an advantage.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic computer/billing knowledge is preferred.

• Should be willing to work in a retail pharmacy environment.

• Should be responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
