Key Responsibilities:
1.Prescription & Dispensing• Accurately dispense medicines as perdoctor's prescription• Check dosage, interactions, and expirybefore billingCounsel customers on medicine usageside effects, and storage2.Customer Handling• Provide friendlv and professional serviceto all walk-in customers• Guide patients on generic vs brandedmedicines (as per MedPlus policy)Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns3 Billing & POS OperationsUse MedPlus billing software / pharmacy POS systemGenerate bills, accept payments (cash, UPI, card)Maintain daily cash and sales records4 Inventory & Stock ManagementMaintain proper stock levels of medicines, surgical items & FMCGCheck expiry, batch numbers, and remove near-expiry productsPlace indent / stock request to warehouse or distributor5 Store & Regulatory ComplianceEnsure pharmacy operates as per Drug & Cosmetics ActMaintain Schedule H, H1, and controlled drug registersKeep prescription records and billing records properly6 Store MaintenanceKeep medicine racks, refrigerator, and storage clean & organizedEnsure temperature control for insulin and vaccinesMaintain proper display as per MedPlus SOP7 Reporting & CoordinationReport daily sales, expiry, and stock issues to store managerCoordinate with delivery, warehouse, and corporate teamSupport audits and inspections.Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 1 - 6+ years of experience. Attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminologies, and proficiency in handling lab instruments and medications are essential. Certification in a relevant field is a plus.
