Pharmacist

Job Description:

We are looking for a licensed Pharmacist (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) who is not only qualified to manage a pharmacy but also has strong sales and customer service skills. The role involves guiding customers towards affordable generic medicines, maintaining compliance with drug laws, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines as per prescriptions with 100% accuracy.

• Actively recommend and explain benefits of generic medicines to customers in place of higher-priced branded medicines.

• Build customer trust through counseling, guidance, and follow-up service.

• Maintain stock records, billing, and ensure availability of essential medicines.

• Keep proper compliance with the Drug & Cosmetics Act and pharmacy license conditions.

• Support marketing initiatives like pamphlet distribution, awareness campaigns, and customer education.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm (preferred) or D.Pharm, from a recognized institute.

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council of Gujarat.

• Sales/retail pharmacy experience preferred (freshers with strong communication also considered)

Skills Required

• Strong product knowledge (generic vs branded medicines).

• Sales & persuasion skills – ability to convince customers on value & quality of generics.

• Good communication in Gujarati, Hindi, and basic English.

• Basic computer knowledge (billing, stock software).

• Customer-friendly, ethical, and proactive personality.
