Experienced Pharmacy Assistant

Job Description:

Well Pharma is looking to hire an experienced Pharmacy Assistant for our Medical Store. The candidate must have 3–4 years of experience working in a pharmacy and should be capable of handling billing, stock management, and customer dealing independently. The applicant must be familiar with MARG Software, basic MS Excel, and should be able to read and understand doctor prescriptions accurately.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day pharmacy operations and must be able to manage counter activities efficiently. The candidate should be responsible, disciplined, and capable of maintaining proper workflow in the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle customers at the pharmacy counter professionally

- Read and understand doctor prescriptions accurately

- Generate bills using MARG Software

- Create and maintain daily sales reports in MS Excel

- Manage medicine stock and maintain proper arrangement

- Check expiry dates of medicines on a regular basis

- Maintain accurate inventory records

- Assist in stock taking and purchase entries

- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines

- Support in receiving and verifying medicine deliveries

- Manage fast-moving and slow-moving stock items

- Maintain proper billing and sales records

- Follow store procedures and operational guidelines

- Assist in managing day-to-day pharmacy shop activities

Requirements:

- Minimum 3–4 years experience in Pharmacy / Medical Shop

- Must know how to use MARG Software for billing and purchase entry

- Basic working knowledge of MS Excel (data entry and record keeping)

- Ability to read doctor prescriptions properly

- Basic knowledge of medicines and brands

- Honest, punctual and responsible

- Good communication and customer handling skills

- Ability to work independently at the counter

- Nearby candidate preferred

- Immediate joiner will be given preference
