Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Dispensing: Read, validate, and accurately dispense medications based on doctor prescriptions. Cross-check patient name, medicine name, exact dosage, quantity, and expiry dates before billing.

• Patient Counseling: Advise patients on correct dosages, side effects, dietary instructions, and medication storage.

• 100% Fulfillment Goal: If a medicine is out of stock, actively arrange it via nearby Apollo branches (Branch Transfers) or the Distribution Center to ensure the customer's needs are met.

• Inventory & Cold Chain Management: Maintain precise inventory control. Monitor fast-moving stocks daily and ensure life-saving medicines (like insulin) are strictly maintained under correct refrigeration parameters.

• Billing & Cash Handling: Manage the POS (Point of Sale) billing counter, collect payments, and manage cash reconciliation during shift handovers.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Education: B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or M.Pharm degree.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Pharmacy Council (PCI) license registered with the respective state. (Candidates awaiting a license are usually hired under a "Trainee" designation).

• Skills: Strong pharmacological knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
