Job Title: Executive / Officer – R&D / QC (Antibody & Protein Analysis)
Job Purpose To support R&D and Quality Control activities through execution of routine laboratory experiments, documentation, GMP/GDP compliance, and timely reporting, contributing to efficient product development and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Laboratory Operations & GMP Compliance Assist in carrying out and managing day-to-day laboratory activities in compliance with GMP and GDP requirements. Ensure adherence to departmental SOPs and quality standards during routine operations. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and discipline as per established procedures.
2. Testing & Analytical Activities Perform routine antigen testing using immunoturbidimetry and chemistry analyzers. Execute protein detection and characterization assays including: o SDS-PAGE o Immunoelectrophoresis (IEP) o Western Blot o ELISA Support protein purification using: o Ion exchange chromatography o Affinity chromatography o Size exclusion chromatography
3. Documentation & Quality Systems Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs, test protocols, and technical documents related to IPQC and Finished Goods QC. Assist in implementation and maintenance of QMS systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016. Ensure proper documentation practices, data integrity, and timely record completion.
4. Reporting & Coordination Submit timely progress reports and experimental updates to the R&D Manager. Support project-related activities and follow assigned timelines and priorities.
5. Equipment & Inventory Management Operate and maintain laboratory instruments as per SOPs. Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. Monitor laboratory consumables and reagent inventory and raise indent requirements as needed.

Experience: 1–3 years in antibody R&D, diagnostics, or QC laboratory (freshers may be considered based on skill set).
