Job Title: Executive / Officer – R&D / QC (Antibody & Protein Analysis)

Job Purpose To support R&D and Quality Control activities through execution of routine laboratory experiments, documentation, GMP/GDP compliance, and timely reporting, contributing to efficient product development and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Operations & GMP Compliance  Assist in carrying out and managing day-to-day laboratory activities in compliance with GMP and GDP requirements.  Ensure adherence to departmental SOPs and quality standards during routine operations.  Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and discipline as per established procedures.

2. Testing & Analytical Activities  Perform routine antigen testing using immunoturbidimetry and chemistry analyzers.  Execute protein detection and characterization assays including: o SDS-PAGE o Immunoelectrophoresis (IEP) o Western Blot o ELISA  Support protein purification using: o Ion exchange chromatography o Affinity chromatography o Size exclusion chromatography

3. Documentation & Quality Systems  Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs, test protocols, and technical documents related to IPQC and Finished Goods QC.  Assist in implementation and maintenance of QMS systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.  Ensure proper documentation practices, data integrity, and timely record completion.

4. Reporting & Coordination  Submit timely progress reports and experimental updates to the R&D Manager.  Support project-related activities and follow assigned timelines and priorities.

5. Equipment & Inventory Management  Operate and maintain laboratory instruments as per SOPs.  Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.  Monitor laboratory consumables and reagent inventory and raise indent requirements as needed.

Result Orientation: Commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years in antibody R&D, diagnostics, or QC laboratory (freshers may be considered based on skill set).
