Lab Technician Ready Mic Concrete

Job Summary:

Test all raw materials and fresh/hardened concrete as per IS codes. Ensure every batch meets client specs before dispatch and maintain NABL documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Raw Material Testing: Cement, fly ash, GGBS, aggregates, admixtures, water – test as per IS 4031, IS 2386. Check silt content, gradation, moisture daily

·   Fresh Concrete Testing: Slump, temperature, density at plant & site. Adjust water/admixture after consulting Plant Operator

·   Cube Testing: Cast, cure, test cubes at 7 & 28 days. Maintain cube register, NABL reports

·   Documentation: Prepare mix design trial reports, MTC, client test reports, calibration records

·   Site Coordination: Visit sites for slump checks, NDT if required, handle client complaints on quality

·   Lab Maintenance: Calibrate CTM, sieves, balances. Keep lab clean, maintain chemical/reagents

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: B.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma Civil / ITI Lab Tech

Experience: 2–6 years in RMC/Batching plant lab mandatory

Knowledge: IS 456, IS 4926, IS 516, mix design basics, NABL protocols

Skills: Cube testing, aggregate testing, basic Excel for reports

Willing for site visits, early morning / late evening shifts
