A Lab Technician supports scientific research, medical diagnostics, or industrial testing by collecting, analyzing, and documenting samples. They ensure accurate test results while maintaining laboratory equipment and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, label, and prepare samples for testing.
Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to established procedures.
Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality control standards.
Monitor inventory and order laboratory supplies when needed
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Relevant laboratory certification (where required).
Previous laboratory experience is an advantage.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records..
