Job Description
Preparing test setup/fixtures for DVP and EVT tests in accordance with safety standards.
Execute DVP and EVT as per planned Procedures
Identifying bugs in a design during each phase of product development life cycle and reporting bugs in a comprehensive manner
Test report generation.
Operating EMI/EMC and Safety test equipments as per recommended standards
Vehicle preparations for testing
Build & Rework on the Box build assemblies, PCB with SMD and through hole components for testing.
Test setup/Test Equipments/Measurements instruments maintenance.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Lab Inventory management

YOU’LL BE BASED AT: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

YOU’LL BE A MEMBER OF: Hardware Packaging Team
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ATHER:
You will support various electro-mechanical box builds and peripheral systems for electric two wheeler projects. Also, take care of the electrical Lab and support testing activities in the hardware packaging team.
● Execute tests as per planned procedures, prepare and present test reports.
● Design and setup test stations for Hardware packaging tests in accordance with safety standards.
● Support with the build / rework on the PCB with SMD and through hole components for testing.
● Support with execution of identified in DFMEA/PFMEA and generate reports.
● Debug issues during verification tests and help build a database of lessons learnt from the design.
● Execute safety and regulatory tests at sub-system level per recommended standards, debug issues.
● Document and log all the test results in standard format.
● Owns and maintains hardware packaging lab.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
● Testing/Re-Working/Assembly of Power Electronic Products.
● Execution of Thermal Tests, Safety & Regulatory Pre-Compliance Tests.
● Rework and soldering of SMD and through hole devices on PCBAs.
● Test Automation, Understanding of test jigs and fixtures.
● Participation in calibration of test equipment.
● Effective communication.
● Ability to read and understand drawings.
● Exposure to different types of electronic components.

WHAT TOOLS KNOWLEDGE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
● Knowledge in operating Oscilloscope, Multimeter is a must.
● Knowledge in measuring equipment like Calipers, Gauges is preferred.
● Hands on with soldering of SMD, through hole components is a must.
● Good documentation skills with MS-Tools, Gsheets etc..
● Exposure to Data logger, Spectrum analyzer, Current Probing equipment, Thermocouples, Electronic load, Power supplies is an advantage.
