We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.
Dispense prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Maintain patient medication records and ensure confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
Manage inventory, check for expired drugs, and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
Monitor controlled substance logs and maintain accurate records.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Valid pharmacist license/registration as required by state or national regulations.
Proven experience as a pharmacist (preferably 1–2 years; freshers may also be considered).
Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
Proficient in pharmacy software and MS Office tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
May require standing for long periods.
Work in hospital, retail pharmacy, or clinical setting depending on the role.
Shift work may be required (especially in hospitals or 24/7 pharmacies).
