## Job Summary:

We are seeking an execution-focused, detail-oriented Portal Administrator to own the daily operations of our e-commerce and live consultation marketplace. Inspired by leading platforms like Astrotalk and Astrosage, our platform connects users with spiritual experts and offers premium astro-merchandise.

As a mid-level individual contributor, you will leverage your strong computer literacy and operating system skills to manage our backend control systems, optimize the catalog lifecycle, and ensure smooth provider-to-user operations. You will act as the vital engine room of our platform, directly impacting user retention and platform reliability.

## Key Responsibilities:

• Admin Panel & Portal Management

• System Operation: Efficiently navigate, update, and manage our custom web-based admin panel and content management systems (CMS) to keep the platform running smoothly.

• Astrologer & Marketplace Operations: Independently handle the onboarding, background verification, and profile configuration for new astrologers, tarot readers, and pundits on the portal.

• Roster & Availability Control: Audit and optimize expert schedules, online/offline status, and waiting queues within the admin dashboard to maximize booking fulfillment.

• Catalog Lifecycle: Take full ownership of product listings for gemstones, remedial items, and digital reports—ensuring perfect pricing, accurate descriptions, and clean visual assets via the control panel.

## Data Operations & Troubleshooting:

• Operating System & PC Logistics: Utilize standard operating systems (Windows/macOS) and computer applications efficiently to manage bulk file uploads (images, PDFs, reports), organize directories, and maintain data hygiene.

• Data Tracking & Reconciliations: Monitor stock levels of high-value items, track order lifecycles, and use spreadsheet tools to calculate monthly consulting hours and commission splits for the finance department.

• Portal Health Checks: Perform daily operational check-ins on the panel, live chat/call nodes, and payment workflows to spot front-end or back-end bugs early.

• Issue Escalation: Act as the direct bridge between frontline customer support and the engineering team to resolve systemic technical bugs or payment failures.

## Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–5 years of operational experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or live consultation platforms.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Strong PC literacy and operating system skills (Windows or macOS file systems, shortcuts, and settings management).

• Hands-on experience operating custom admin panels, CRM dashboards, or CMS portals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for managing data and logs.

• Self-Governance: Proven ability to work independently, manage a high volume of daily tasks, and self-prioritize without needing constant oversight.

• Communication: Highly articulate, with the patience and maturity required to coordinate with traditional spiritual scholars as well as fast-paced tech developers.
