Web Developer / UI-UX Designer

We’re looking for a Shopify-proficient Web Developer who can build a high-converting online clothing store from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who understands fashion e-commerce, visual storytelling, and smooth user journeys — not just code.

You’ll be responsible for translating brand aesthetics into a functional, fast, and conversion-optimised Shopify store.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and customise a Shopify clothing store (from setup to launch)

• Select, customise, or develop Shopify themes aligned with brand identity

• Create clean, responsive layouts for:
  

  • Homepage

  • Collection pages

  • Product detail pages

  • Cart & checkout flow

• Integrate essential Shopify apps (payments, shipping, reviews, analytics, etc.)

• Ensure mobile-first performance and fast loading speeds

• Set up product variants (size, colour), filters, and collections

• Implement basic SEO best practices (meta tags, URLs, speed optimisation)

• Ensure smooth checkout and payment gateway integrations

• Troubleshoot bugs and maintain site performance post-launch

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with Shopify (portfolio mandatory)

• Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

• Experience building fashion / clothing e-commerce websites

• Familiarity with Shopify apps and third-party integrations

• Knowledge of UX/UI principles for e-commerce

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail — especially with layout, spacing, and visual flow

Good to Have (Bonus)

• Experience with custom Shopify theme development

• Knowledge of CRO (conversion rate optimisation)

• Experience integrating Instagram Shop / Facebook Shop

• Understanding of fashion branding and online merchandising
