Job Summary:

We are an e-commerce company looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer with strong expertise in Shopify and WordPress to build, optimize, and scale high-performance website. The ideal candidate will lead technical development, ensure smooth user journeys, improve conversion rates, and support business growth through robust and secure e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead development and maintenance of e-commerce websites on Shopify and WordPress.

·         Develop and customize Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and store functionality

·         Build and enhance WordPress themes, plugins, and checkout flows

·         Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability for high traffic

·         Implement and manage payment gateways, shipping, tax, and inventory systems

·         Integrate third-party tools such as CRM, ERP, marketing automation, and analytics

·         Improve conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience

·         Ensure website security, data protection, and compliance

·         Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term fixes

·         Guide and mentor junior developers and interns

·         Coordinate with marketing, design, and operations teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         1+ years of experience in Shopify & WordPress e-commerce development

·         Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

·         Advanced knowledge of Shopify , custom theme development

·         Knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and page speed tools

·         Experience with Git / version control

·         Understanding of hosting, CDN, caching, and deployment

·         Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

·         Experience with custom Shopify apps

·         Knowledge of headless commerce

·         Experience with AWS or cloud hosting

·         Knowledge of analytics, GA4, Search Console, heatmaps
